Lego Batman 2 – Super Heroes Confirmed

Lego Batman may be one of the best Lego games from developer Travelers Tales. It’s not surprising that it will be getting a sequel like some of the other Lego Games have gotten. Over the summer Head of Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment (WBIE), Martin Tremblay revealed that Lego Batman 2 would be coming.

We got confirmation when Lego started rolling out it’s new line of Lego Super Hero sets. According to WVCUK, in the instruction books for the new sets are ads for Lego Batman 2 – Super Heroes.

The ads also feature Superman and Wonderwoman. This means that they may be playable characters in the game. They, along with Green Lantern, will be getting Lego sets this year. This means that any characters featured in the Lego sets could potentially be in the game.

The ad shows that the game will be coming to 3DS, Wii, Xbox 360, and Playstation formats. The vagueness of the Playstation formats could mean that it will be on PS3 and Vita. No release date was given, but with an ad, toy sets, and a Batman movie all coming in 2012, it can be assumed the game will also come out in 2012.

I am personally pretty excited. Not only do I enjoy the Lego games, but I also love Batman and the DC Universe. The first Lego Batman was fun, and I am ready to play as more of my favorite DC Heroes.
