Okami is Getting the HD Treatment

Capcom has done the unthinkable…again.  In a recent announcement the company has revealed they will be releasing the 2006 PS2 classic (and later released on the Wii), Okami,  on the Playstation Network this fall for $19.99.  The game will be getting an HD overhaul, a complete collection of 51 trophies, and the option for Playstation Move support.  Check out the reveal trailer below.

Okami is a fantastic action adventure game that has been both critically and commercially praised.  You play as Amaterasu, the Japanese sun-goddess, who has taken the form of a wolf in her adventure to save the land from a wicked evil.  The art-style looks like something straight out of a Japanese water-color painting which reflects your power to use paint to both interact with the world and attack enemies.   With a story full of mythology and lore from classical Japan, and gameplay similar to the Legend of Zelda series, the Okami HD release is a must-own for anyone who skipped out the first time, as well as those who think it’s time for a trip down memory lane.
